Pumps
Metering pumps
Diaphragm, gear and impeller metering pumps for accurate, repeatable dosing of chemicals, adhesives and process media.
Metering means the right quantity, at the right time, with repeatable accuracy. Depending on medium, viscosity and required accuracy we use diaphragm, gear or impeller metering pumps.
We have successfully implemented numerous dosing projects — from chemical dosing in water treatment to adhesive application in window manufacturing. Talk to us about your application.

Diaphragm metering pumps
Highest dosing accuracy for water treatment, industry and laboratory
Diaphragm metering pumps are ideal for applications requiring the highest dosing accuracy. A flexible diaphragm displaces precisely defined volumes — hermetically sealed, leak-free and without contact between drive and medium.
A typical application of solenoid-driven metering pumps is chemical dosing in water treatment. Countless further fields of use are dosing processes in industry and in the laboratory.
Characteristics
- Very high dosing accuracy and repeatability
- Solenoid or motor drive
- Hermetically sealed delivery without shaft seal
- Fine control of stroke length and frequency
- Materials: PP, PVDF, PTFE, stainless steel
- Control via pulse, analogue signal or bus
Typical applications
- Chemical dosing in water treatment
- Drinking, process and wastewater treatment
- Cooling circuits and boiler feed water
- Dosing processes in industry
- Laboratory and pilot plants
Gear metering pumps
Low-pulsation dosing of low to medium viscosity liquids
The gear metering pump is used to convey low to medium viscosity liquids. Its range of use extends from classic transfer and dosing tasks in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry to conveying in polymer production.
Gear metering pumps are used in many ways: adhesive and sealant application in window manufacturing, dosing of chemicals in production processes or filling of silicone and polyurethane adhesives — to name just a few examples. Talk to us, we have successfully realised many such projects.
Characteristics
- Almost pulsation-free, uniform delivery
- High repeat accuracy across the whole speed range
- Low to medium viscosity media
- Versions in stainless steel and special materials
- Sealing: mechanical seal or magnetic coupling
- Can be combined with servo drives for exact batch dosing
Application examples
- Adhesive and sealant application in window manufacturing
- Dosing of chemicals in production processes
- Filling of silicone and polyurethane adhesives
- Transfer and dosing tasks in chemicals and pharma
- Conveying in polymer production
Impeller pumps for dosing
Filling of liquids containing solids and pieces
The impeller pump is suitable for dosing and filling liquids containing solids and pieces. The flexible impeller conveys the product gently without damaging sensitive components — ideal for sauces, soups, marinades or chunky foods.
Advantages when dosing
- Gentle handling of media containing pieces
- Self-priming, also with partly filled lines
- Volumetric delivery — dosed via speed control
- Hygienic stainless steel design, CIP-capable
- Impeller materials for food, oils and chemicals

Frequently asked questions
- How accurate are metering pumps?
- Diaphragm and piston metering pumps typically achieve a reproducibility of ±1 % to ±3 % within the controlled range – depending on back pressure, medium and calibration.
- Do I need an injection valve or a pulsation damper?
- An injection valve prevents backflow and ensures even mixing. Pulsation dampers are recommended with long pipes, sensitive measuring points or high stroke frequencies.
